I am a Government Relations and Public Affairs professional with longstanding expertise and networks in global and EU environmental policy and certification, packaging, food systems sustainability and biodiversity.

A strong believer in collaboration to drive the sustainability transformation and support ambitious, evidence-based sustainability policies in the EU and globally.

Located in the Brussels region, I can support you in German, English and French.

15+ years of experience at international corporates, associations, and civil society organisations:

• EU Affairs Director at Tetra Pak, one of the world’s largest providers of food processing and packaging solutions: Responsible for the EU advocacy strategy and representing the company on environment and packaging policy towards the EU institutions as well as European and international organisations. Lead and pro-active involvement in industry associations’ Board of Directors and working groups. Heading the company's strategic partnerships with key stakeholder organisations.
• Director at the European Water Stewardship initiative, a cross-sector organisation of business leaders, authorities, and key stakeholders promoting the sustainable use of natural resources in industry and agriculture. 
• Representative of the European Organic Certifiers Association, EOCC: gaining exhaustive experience in mandatory and voluntary certification schemes in the agrifood and forestry sector.

I hold a PhD in Agricultural Sciences from the Technical University of Munich and lectured in organic food chain management at the University of Stuttgart Hohenheim, Germany.
